Happy Christmas everyone!
So, we're now getting to the end of school, which means the end of a very successful first term for Smogblog.
But have no fear, because next year we're coming back bigger and better than before! In the holidays, we'll continue our blog, and keep on publishing what you send us. Look forward to a behind the scenes, uncensored look at what went on at year 8 camp.
Then: Get ready for a massive Smog first term! We will kick off the Smog year on 26 Jan, with a discussion about whether Australia day is really worth celebrating. At the moment, we're looking for people to write an article either for or against Australia Day. Then, we'll get into full swing, with a massive sneaky-poster campaign around the school, and Smith's Hill's first ever SCAVENGER HUNT!! Stay tuned for further details and great prizes.
We'll investigate what Really happened to G block, and finally publish something on public displays of affection, which has seemed to be pretty controversial.
ON TOP OF ALL THIS we'll continue to publish whatever we get sent, and provide Smith's Hill with an independant outlet for all the budding young journos out there.
AND....stay tuned for the most radical thing that Smith's Hill has ever seen, proudly brought to you by smog. It's so radical, we can't even tell you now, but it involves the students finally getting some power in a way we've never seen.
So plenty to be excited about...
But while you're being all psyched for a smog-alicious year, don't forget to have a great holidays. We hope you all have a fun and safe Christmas and New Year, ready to Smog it up in 2010.
SMOG 2010...get ready for it!
Much Love,
Smog McSmoggy

What? Both of you?
YOU HAVE JUST EXPERIENCED LIFE WIN!
lol thanks?
ILY!
Do an article on christmas. It'd be interesting.
I'd like to see how smiths hill attacks such a contraversial topic.
I bring this up coz Mrs. Mitchell made an interesting point of talking about christianity and christmas and then shed a tear about how much peace she wished for everyone.
SO...YEAH DO IT =D
Good idea. If you'd like to write it, feel free, and we'll see if it's worth publishing.
But we're not a big fan of creating controversy for controversy's sake, especially if it upsets people. If you're making a point...go for it...but we won't publish anything that's like "rant rant rant hate religion hate christmas hate Mrs. Mitchell bah humbug" and not much else.
So yeh. See what you can come up with. It'd be great to have you on board
the mystery of G block? What mystery? hahahha.
