Treassure hunts and such: An update from Smog McSmoggy

Hey Smoggers!

Smog McSmoggy is very happy.

Oh so happy.

Thanks you guys so much for all your contributions, comments and suggestions over the past few weeks.

I just love you guys so much that we here at SmogBlog have decided to host a TREASSURE HUNT!

This epic treassue hunt will take place at school during school hours. We can't release full details yet but it will involve putting clues together from around the school to figure out a codeword/number. The first person to figure this out and shoot off an e-mail to smogblog@hotmail.com will win a *mystery prize*- yes, actual prizes that are actully valuable.

Alas! Before we can host this treassue hunt we need to get more support. So when 30 more articles are published on SmogBlog we will begin the treassue hunt!

(20 articles really isn't that many considering the number of regular contributers we have). So put your hands up in the air for a treasure hunt! The more articles we post the faster we will reach out goal, so to help us out, link to Smogblog on facebook, twitter, myspace (you're living in the past, man!) or send your friends an old-fashioned e-mail.

Now, back to the blog:

We have 3 columns now! Hooray! WTF Moment of the Week by enn, Hill Life by Eric. M and the much-loved year 12 column, The View from the Top by October Boy.

And of course along with all of that, we have our other articles, as usual. The latest ones cover everything from bucketlists to the 'cursed' year 11.

And a fun new feature for those peer-group concious: a "sort-by-year" feature, located on the inner sidebar. Just go ahead and click on your graduating year to acces the wonderful words of your year. Please remeber that not all writers speficy their year.

A NOTE TO YEAR SEVEN & EIGHT STUDENTS: There has been no contribution from you guys so far...dissapointing :\

Also to do with the layout; there are a few links on the outer sidebar to some SHHS-related websites such as ratemyteacher.

We here at SmogBlog also encourage you to take the Go for Gold survey set up by the school- let the Big M know what's up!
